I recently got new make up brushes and because I have an obsession with buying them I have ran out of places to keep them.
So I thought this would be a great idea for a simple but stylish blog post.
I originally thought that this idea would be great for a candle holder but once I finished it I realised that it looked a lot more like a make up brush holder but if you want to use it as a candle holder then thats great too!
So I began by washing out an empty tin of soup, make sure to give it a really good clean out as you don’t want the tin to begin to smell.
As I had planned on making this a candle holder, you will see in the video me putting holes in the tin for the light to shine through which I kept in incase you wanted to give it a shot.
I then painted the tin a nice metallic silver incase the glitter didn’t cover everywhere I still wanted the tine to have a nice shine to it.
Once I finished painting the tin I started to just cover the whole thing with glitter. This is quite a messy task but is so worth it in the end.
I am so in love with the copper glitter I used, I’ve used it in a few of my blogs as I just think it creates such a warm but stylish look.
Giver this DIY craft a shot and let me know how you got on!
