Revamped Fairy Lights

I have a real love for fairy lights and constantly find myself buying new ones. I recently seen baby pink, light bulb fairy lights selling for around £20.  Personally I just think thats quite expensive for fairy lights that probably wouldn’t last that long. IMG_1958

I had a look around the other shops and found plain light bulb fairy lights for around £5 and then remembered I had baby pink paint at home.

This was such a simple task to carry out and I find these kind of crafts so therapeutic.  I began by laying out some bin bags and then spread the fairy lights out so that they wouldn’t be touching each other while wet with the paint.

I used the ‘Sweet Pink’ Deluxe tester for the paint. It went on really well but it does need two coats to make sure the silver colour is covered up right.

I then put the fairy lights outside for about an hour to make sure they were dry before hanging then back up on my wall.

This was such a simple way of revamping something that was quite basic. You could paint these fairy lights absolutely any colour you wish to suit to your personal style.
