I had recently bought a small plant pot from Ikea, with the intention to revamp it. However I wasn’t too sure what to do with it, I therefore took a trip to Homebase for some inspiration and came across this spray paint.
A lot of the things in my room are bronze/copper colours so I decided this colour would be perfect for the plant pot to go with my room.
This was extremely simple and also really cheap as the plant pot and paint were around £3 each.
The plant pot was originally a silver/grey colour.
Personally thought this was very boring and even if my room didn’t have a lot of copper in it, I would’ve revamped it in another way.
I made sure I sprayed the plant pot outside as the paint would go everywhere inside!
I sat it on an old cardboard box so that I could get to all areas, including the inside of the pot. I then left it outside for around and hour and half to dry.
Once it was dry, I noticed it wasn’t matte but it wasn’t as shiny as I would’ve liked it to have been. I decided to use a glitter paint on it, one coat, to give it a nice shine.
I am extremely happy with the finishing product and can’t believe how easy and cheap it was to make something boring look so much more expensive and fun.
